| Purpose of the course | Practical training in data management and epidemiological analysis. |
| Intended learning outcomes | Be able to handle epidemiological data sets, categorize variables, perform relevant statistical tests, perform relevant regression analyses, build statistical multivariable models, and interpret and present analyses results. |
| Contents of the course | Lectures and excercises in practical data management, choice of analysis, statistical model building, interpretation of results and presentation. |
| Teaching and learning activities | Lectures, teacher assisted work-shops with practical data management, and analyses using laptops and state of the art statistical software. |
| Compulsory elements | Attendance at lectures, work-shops and exercises/labs is compulsory. Absence must be compensated through attendance at a subsequent class or per agreement with the course director. |
