| Purpose of the course | To prepare young scientists for the present and for the future of science. |
| Intended learning outcomes | After the completed course, the participants will be able to describe and discuss the strengths of Nordic research in health sciences, and integrate them into their own research or research plans. The participants will be able to describe the role of research in the Nordic societal setting, and how research can benefit society. The participants can describe different pathways in innovation and entrepreneurial collaboration. |

| Teaching and learning activities | Lectures, discussions, preparation of interdisciplinary poster, poster presentation and poster discussion. |
| Compulsory elements | Participation in the preparation of interdisciplinary poster, poster presentation and poster discussion are mandatory. Compensation is according to the instructions of the course director. |
