Purpose of the course | |
Intended learning outcomes | -- communicate own research well adjusted to different contexts by using various means of communication -- based on theories of communication and learning assess the quality of peers' communication of own research and give constructive feedback accordingly -- articulate considerations on philosophy of science and research ethics in relation to the own research project -- be able to perform basic summaries, analyses and presentation of data, as well as have enhanced their ability to recognize, understand and critically view the statistics being presented in medical articles |

Teaching and learning activities | The pedagogic framing is based on student activity with interactive lectures, seminars and work-shops. The scheduled face-to-face activities in the course will be mixed with individual work and feedback from teachers and peers via the web based platform PingPong. |
Compulsory elements | Assignments, seminar and group activities. Absence from seminar and group activities can be compensated by self studies and written assignments. |
Examination | The knowledge, skills and attitudes acquired in the course will be assessed through written assignments and oral presentations. |
