Purpose of the course
Intended learning outcomes After the completed course, the students should be able to discuss, analyze and relate the known mechanisms and causes underlying the development of the most common neurodegenerative disorders and to describe development of novel therapies for these disorders
Contents of the course Overview of common neurodegenerative disorders from the perspective on regenerative medicine and development of novel therapies.
Teaching and learning activities The pedagogic learning activities on the course consist of cathedral lectures, group discussions and student presentations.
Compulsory elements Participation in the group discussions and student presentations is mandatory. Compensation through an individual written assignment.
Examination The students are examinated individually with a quiz or a written essay. The final course examination is a project presentation in groups.
